To narrrow things down for the specialist, we have two other websites - The Flyfisher's Classic Library, which caters specifically for collectors of fine limited edition angling books, particularly reprints of rare or classic works with scholarly new introductions, and Falconry Books UK which lists our wide and comprehensive stock of books on falconry and raptors without the distraction of having to wade through ten thousand books on fishing and field sports.

Waterlog Magazine. Simply the best fishing magazine ever. "The Editor" would be a fishing mate if I could get the bugger to come fishing. Here he is, with Fred Buller & me, at the launch of Fred's collection of essays on the unusual: Angling: The Solitary Vice.
Flyfishing and Flytying Magazine. The other best fishing magazine ever. Editor Mark Bowler would be a fishing mate, too, if he did not live 500 miles away. We meet occasionally on the Zambezi.
Global Flyfisher. One of the very best flyfishing websites, run by another friend, who I seem to fail to go fishing with at least every two years. Martin Joergensen has teamed up with some American chaps to turn his wonderful Danish fishing site into a wonderful international fishing site.
Don't see why this should be all fishing. Terrier people can be a grumpy and argumentative lot. It was a happy relief to find such a pleasant and informative one at Terrierman.com.

David Miller has sensibly moved to Wales where he dives among bass and sea-trout and produces the most beautiful oil paintings of them. I have two paintings of bass; one by David and the other by Ad Swier. Ad is a great artist, photographer and writer and has a good website. I see fish pictures every day, so I really prefer the stripey lady.
Christina Tooley of Chevron Hackles in Devon has millions of chickens. Well, a lot more than me anyway. She breeds birds for top quality capes and skins for fly-tying.
The Grayling Society. Speaks for itself. A lot of nice chaps who fish for a nice tasty fish.
Bass Anglers Sportfishing Society. Ditto.
The Pike Fly Fishing Association. Ditto again. But you'd better whisper the bit about them being tasty.
Barbel ain't so tasty but are a great sporting fish. The Barbel Society look after their interests.
The Anglers' Co-operative Association are now called FishLegal. They are still the people that prosecute polluters. Well worth supporting!
The Flydresser's Guild. Lots of nice chaps who are too busy tying flies to go fishing.
The Wild Trout Society. Lots of nice people who care about trout. I'm glad they don't live around here. There are only so many wild trout to go round.
